The program is built on a simple premise: a room finishes itself the moment real art enters it, and that shift shouldn't be reserved for buyers alone. For the first time, industry professionals can bring an original — not a print, not a reproduction — into a listing, a model home, or a client's space for a fraction of its retail value.
“A painting isn’t a finishing touch — it’s a frequency a room holds,” said April Paige, owner and fine artist behind April Paige Fine Art. “This program exists so stagers and designers can hand a client that feeling, that unmistakable shift, without asking anyone to commit to ownership before they’re ready. Luxury at low cost: Original paintings available at 15% of retail cost per month, so any space can be elevated without stretching the budget.
Flexible terms: Pieces can be rented daily for a showing or open house, or monthly for longer staging periods and design projects.
Delivery and pickup included: April personally delivers and retrieves each piece within a 50-mile radius of Durham, N.C., at no added logistics cost to the client.
10% referral fee: Stagers, realtors and designers earn a 10% referral fee any time a client falls in love with a rented piece — or any new client they refer — and decides to purchase.

TWO YEARS OF ‘ARTIST ANTICS WITH APRIL’
The launch arrives alongside another milestone: this month marks two years since April premiered Artist Antics with April, her interview series spotlighting working artists and the discipline, reinvention, and everyday antics behind a creative life. Now streaming on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts, the series has featured conversations with artists and creatives across disciplines, with new episodes released regularly.
