'Ascension' was inspired by the serene beauty of a statue. An angel caught in a moment of deep prayer, her presence both grounded and reaching toward the divine. In this oil painting, that moment is reimagined with life and light. A delicate, glittered plant leaves stretch downward toward her, as if drawn by her quiet strength and spiritual glow.
The composition is meant to evoke a sense of rising. Not just in body, but in spirit. The angel’s posture speaks to surrender, grace, and the silent power of hope. The shimmering leaves add a touch of the earthly world reaching to the divine,, symbolizing growth, faith, and the invisible connection between nature and the sacred.
Painted on a 24”W x 30”H x 3"D gallery-wrapped canvas, Ascension is rich with layered texture and soft radiance. It invites the viewer to pause, breathe, and reflect. Ready to hang, this piece brings a sense of calm, reverence, and gentle light into any space.
